World of War-ween

Last night was something that brought me back to the days of GridStream Productions, and Anarchy Online. On the Argent Dawn server, the RP guild, Talons of the Gryphon, hosted a Halloween Party, with my as their DJ. Unlike SecondLife, MMOG’s are limited to the amount of player based creativity, because everything was pre-made and designed for specific use. You always come across a group of players, or guilds, who have found ways to manipulate the game mechanics to be used for more social interactions, which was the case last night. There was a moment, or rather few moments, that reminded me of my time DJing within an MMOG environment, and the community style interaction that occurs. Ahh, have to remember where your roots are, don’t you?
