M Linden failed to make a single post. Jack managed 4, but nine of them addressed the main issues being raised. Faced with a user revolt they responded by renaming the current OpenSpace region and staggering the price hike. Remember, this decision was made without a single warning that LL were concerned that Openspace sims were not being used as they wanted. Instead of tackling the problem, they increased the price by 67%. Far from it being obvious that LL is listening to its user base, the arrogance and incompetence they demonstrated has alienated a considerable number of paying customers. If anyone looks at the SL forum, they will quickly see that your assessment is not the view of almost everyone posting there. In my case, I do have an open sim,in the "Homestad" molud. It fulfills my desire for space while not imposing the costs associated with a full sim. I may be payimg more per prim, the advantage of privacy and space to terraform land to me and my partners needs, outweigh the 'extra' cost involved.
