All has been calm… thankfully!

Rarely do you see an article of this nature. The minute a grid attack happens that shuts down or slows down the grid, the minute some sort of devastating, net shattering news is announced (such as certain sections of the Second Life forums being shut down), bloggers, news journalist, and the metaverse community in Second Life erupt in uproar. For once though, the grid has been fairly quiet. There has not been a widespread grid attack in many weeks, the most earth shattering thing to happen to Second Life was the spoof of War of the Worlds by the SecondCast.com crew (which if you haven’t listened to, is quite humorous). Things have seemed to begun to stable themselves even in the wake of 1 million residents. It is nice to have this sort of stability in virtual worlds.
