At Noon EST, Barak H. Obama became the 44th president of the United States of America and the first African-American/Black president of the United States. There’s so much that can be said, most of it already shared, but today’s historic day should be one of celebration, joy and music.
iTunes joined in the celebration by releasing a compilation titled Songs About Obama. The album features 49 songs including those from will.i.am, Wyclef Jean, Nikko, Kidz In The Hall, and Michael Franti that were used and created throughout his presidential campaign and election victory. It is a part of iTunes 2009 Presidential Inauguration Page which includes Podcasts, and Artists who are a part of today’s Inauguration ceremonies. A nice collection for today’s history event.
